SUCCESSFUL UTILITY LID IMPLEMENTATIONS
RETROFIT OF A FAILING PUMP STATION
A custom designed utility lid was utilized in a project led by Excel Fluid Group for Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD). This project required Excel Fluid Group to design a retrofit of an existing failing pump station that fits in a small residential space. With the limited available space, a 6ft by 5ft NV3 NoVault™ pump station was placed on top of a custom designed utility lid. Our utility lid served as a durable solution that dampens vibration and reduces noise.
A NEW WASTEWATER PUMP STATION
MetroHealth Glick Center received help from EMH&T and Excel Fluid Group to design and implement a new wastewater pump station. This pump station was not anticipated in the initial stages of construction, leaving little room for the pump station to sit on the site. It was decide that a NoVault™ pump station installed on top of one of our utility lids was the best option to fit the limited space. Our utility lid was designed to meet the space requirements as well as to effectively dampen vibration and reduce noice.
